Her academic qualifications, including her Ph.D., form the foundation for a clearly structured consulting approach.
She helps organizations systematically develop strategic objectives, translate them into consistent key performance indicators and management systems, and effectively integrate them into operational decision-making processes. She views strategy as a structured decision-making framework that is operationalized and made measurable through robust controlling tools.
In risk management, her focus is on the structured identification, assessment, and integration of financial and non-financial risks—particularly in the regulatory and ESG contexts—into existing governance, reporting, and management systems. She views controlling as a data-driven, digitally supported management tool that holistically integrates strategy, risk, and performance and provides a robust basis for decision-making.
Prof. Othmar Lehner, Ph.D.
Prof. Dr. Othmar Lehner has over 20 years of experience in the fields of economic sustainability, reporting, strategy, and risk management projects worldwide. He works closely with EU regulatory authorities on European standards for sustainability reporting, the SFDR, and research groups focused on biodiversity. He regularly speaks at conferences and has published several peer-reviewed articles and books on sustainability reporting and corporate social responsibility.
